The Guardian and Cheese Problems...

Cheese Problems Solved today (Tuesday February 27) got a light-hearted mention from Hugh Muir, diarist (but obviously not dairyist!) of the UK's Guardian newspaper (p. 29 of the tabloid edition):

"Finally", he writes, "the thirst for knowledge draws us to Bookseller magazine and the Oddest Book Title of the Year compeitition. The shortlist bears testimony to the quality on display this year. Cheese Problems Solved is an obvious contender, as is You Want Closure in Your Relationship, Start with your Legs. People Who Mattered in Southend, From King Canute to Dr Feelgood, means the historical end is catered for. But can anything beat I Was Tortured by the Pygmy Love Queen. Love, laughs and drama, and that's just the cover."

I never thought the title funny, but now that I think of it...

Update

Apparently, the poll for oddest book title of the year is open here. Seeing some of the other titles, I don't think I have a hope! Mind you, the 5 min slot this evening on BBC Radio 2's Chris Evans Show might help (apparently heard by 5 million British people stuck in traffic on the M25 while on their way home from work)...
